Who We are
Littlehampton Welding Limited is a UK based architectural and structural metalwork fabrication company initially established in 1984.
The company works across structural steel packages, architectural metalwork and bespoke installations for architects, main contractors, designers, artists and private clients. Projects are delivered in accordance with BS EN 1090, with capability up to and including Execution Class 3.

This helical staircase forms a striking feature within the historic London interior of Fortnum & Mason at Piccadilly.
Goodwood FOS Central Feature - West Sussex
Commissioned for the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this sculpture features icon cars design by Gordon Murray.

OUR SERVICES
Delivery of structural steel packages including primary framing, structural interventions and associated steel elements. Work is fabricated in house and coordinated with design teams and contractors from early stage through to installation.
Fabrication of façades, cladding systems, door and window frames, feature steelwork and integrated building elements. Work is carried out to relevant standards, with finishing undertaken to industry specification where required.
Design support, fabrication and installation of stair structures and feature staircases, in commercial, civic and private environments. Projects range from primary structural stair assemblies to detailed architectural installations.
Fabrication and installation of balcony structures, balustrades and guarding systems across multi storey developments. Work is coordinated with adjoining trades to manage structural interfaces and installation sequencing.
Fabrication of sculptural and artist led projects, including complex geometry and large scale public installations. Trial erection and logistical planning are undertaken where required prior to delivery.
Combined structural and architectural metalwork delivered within a single scope. This includes integration of associated materials such as timber and glass where specified, ensuring coordination across all interface details.
OUR CAPABILITIES
DESIGN & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
An in house design team supports projects from early concept through to full fabrication detailing. BIM integration and accurate 3D modelling are used to coordinate complex geometry and resolve interfaces. Engineering input and pre construction services agreements are undertaken where required.
Fabrication and Finishing
Fabrication is undertaken at the South Coast facility equipped with overhead cranes and in house lifting capability. Welding processes include manual metal arc, TIG, MIG and submerged arc, carried out by coded welders. Surface preparation and finishing include shot blasting, thermal metal spraying and protective coatings as specified.
Installation and Logistics
Installation is delivered by experienced teams supported by in house Project Managers. Lift plans, method statements and logistical strategies are developed for cranes, specialist haulage and constrained sites. International transport and overseas installation are undertaken where required.
