Clients gain the benefit of over thirty years of our experience in this specialised industry as we offer a complete service, from concept through to design on to fabrication, finishing and installation of projects, ranging from a few pounds to multi-million pounds. The experienced gained has stayed within the company as we have a low staff turnover allowing skills to be enhanced by these cumulative years of experience.
All conceptual and design work is carried out under one roof.
Up to date CAD software from AutoCAD and Tekla Structures is employed to produce 3D
models, working drawings, parts lists and data transfer files for accurate CNC production.
Bespoke metal fabrication of welded and bolted structures in a range of metals,
mild steel, stainless steel and non ferrous including aluminium and brass.
Our workshops have a range of machine tools that provide metal cutting,
turning, drilling and boring services.
Rotary barrel blast cleaner for surface preparation of minor parts.
All workshops have a range of overhead cranes for ease of material movements.
A levelled steel factory floor acts as a giant drawing board for the skilled fabricators
to accurately mark out and weld directly onto.
Automatic shot blast machine for the preparation of metals to different surface finishes (SA2.5 is standard) prior to painting etc.
Our skilled fabricators us a blast cabinet for the manual shot blasting of smaller and more intricate parts.
Large paint shop (over 500m²) for conventional spray painting and electrostatic paint spraying.
Special workshop for electric arc metal spraying, to form a zinc protective surface, enhancing corrosion protection of paint systems. This process can also be used for applying decorative surface finishes onto metallic and non-metallic surfaces.
Finished stainless steel parts are prepared in the polishing shop and the range of finishes, as laid down in BS 1449, can provide a satin polish being the general norm.
Installation of work is carried out by our own team of CSCS and SSSTS qualified site installers, managed by our SMSTS qualified site managers.
With this wealth of knowledge we can offer design alternatives at an early stage which can not only be cost effective, but can also help with project programming resulting in faster drawing approval as any change in detail design is agreed upon before pen touches paper. Such early involvement with all parties has helped multi million pound projects to be delivered successfully on or before time.
